Andrew's head shook slightly in surprise, when he realized the responsibility. He nodded quickly, leapt from his seat and walked quickly down the row. He approached Mcgonagall, about to speak until Mcgonagall ordered them. He nodded once, then walked to Ravenclaw and ordered them to follow him. He gave small details on whats happening while he walked to the Gryffindor table and instructed the same. "Please hurry," He said quietly and he glanced around the room. He met eyes with Mcgonagall, who gave him an apprecative nod while he waved his hand in the air to follow him quicker. Raven stared at Alora, taken back by the sudden commands. She looked at the Hufflepuff table who followed the commandments swiftly while attaining a worry free expression on their face. Confused, a girl behind Raven had explained annoyedly,"This happens like every year, nothing new. Don't panic." She said the last part quietly, and Raven nodded gently and hurried out of the Great Hall. Peter appeared worried and strickened with fear, panicking to one of the guys next to him, who calmed him down however others were laughing. He liked how easy it was to pretend, he honestly felt nothing and very little towards people and especially feelings. It didn't bother him a bit. He wanted to appear weak. With his head down, he strolled out of the Great Hall with the fellow Slytherins in amazement at how he could easily do the spell back in the room since the entire school would be in chaos until everything settled down. He fought back a smile.

James helped Andrew get everyone into the Gryffindor house. "I'll see you later." He said, nodding at Andrew before jumping into the potrait and starting to get everyone settled. "Okay! Everyone stay calm. I'm sur eeverything is okay. You know this is a standard precaution so that we all know what to do with these situations." Now he was just lying out of his ass. "Go get yourselves ready for lights out. Now." He demanded, and everyone surprisingly listened. Maggie followed her housemates into the Ravenclaw common room. She sat down, as she was hushed my the prefects. they instructed everyone to go to their dorms and get ready for lights out. She nodded, not bothering to argue. Heading up the stairs to the girls dorm, she quickly ran into her room and changed as fast as she could. She wanted to go to sleep and see that girl again. -- Alora got everyone into their houses, and ran back into the dining hall with her wand at the ready. Speaking of wands, her's was a eleven-inch, birchwood with a phoenix feather core. Yeah, she knows it's like Harry Potter's and He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named's wands. But it fit her. Perfectly. "What do you need me to do Professor?" She asked, running back to the teachers table. She could just feel all of the happy being drained out, she knew the dementors were coming.

Andrew nodded back when James commanded everyone into the Gryffindor housing. It was comforting almost before he reminded himself of the dementors. He's seen pictures of them before, heard stories of them however the thought of coming across one sent chills up his spine. His feet was almost planted on the ground before he forced himself too. I am the Head Boy for a reason, be stronger then this. He thought as he headed back to thedining hall. He walked in obesrving Alora timidly, how her wand resembeled Harry Potters but with a cross of He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. Anger boiled inside him that sparked with vengence as he etched his way behind her. He never had this sort of anger boil that quick. Or was this jealosy? His eyes fell to the wand in his hand. It was a 8 nch cherry wood with dragon heartstring. When the wand had chosen him, the wandmaker had laughed loudly and teased him about it. He kept his head down low as he walked to the teachers table, and kept his wand low at his side and glanced between Alora and Mcgonagall. "Alora, we cannot have them come inside the school. We must be at all perimeters," She said rather cooly. (I got an idea!) Raven went to the bed she was assigned to, cause the other girls wanted the bed she did, and decided it wasn't worth the fight. She drew the bed cover back and slid into bed, watching the others talking about the events. She had leaned up though when they said dementors. The confusion on her face must have been clear because they started rapidly explaining. Peter was in a giddy mood the moment he returned to the dorm. However, the two boys from Slytherin who always picked on him had slipped away from the group and went to the bathroom. They wanted to record eveyrthing going on with the dementors. Yet, this was Peter's chance. One of the many plans he had would be following through.

James sat down on a couch in the common room with the other prefects. Or soon-to-be prefects. They set up a watch system in case anyone tried to come down the stairs, protecting anyone they could. James offered to be first watch as some of the others tried to sleep a little bit. He sighed, twirling his wand in his fingers. -- Maggie tossed and turned in bed, not getting comfortable. "Hell." She muttered, sitting up and grabbing her wand. "Lumos" She whispered, lighting her path and not trying to wake her roommates. She padded downstairs and into the common area, which was empty. She grunted in frustration, extinguishing the light. "What to do what to do." -- Alora nodded, turning back to the doors. "You and Andrew take the upper floor. Us professors will be dispersed throughout the school. If you need us, you know what to do." McGonagall said, as Alora left. She felt Andrew at her heels as she sped up and got to the top floor rather quickly. "Don't screw this up." She said out loud, meaning just to keep it in her mind. "Sorry, that wasn't meant for you." She added, already feeling terrible that Andrew could've taken what she said the wrong way. (What's your idea??)

Andrew remained quick on Alora's heels. His fingertips grasped around his wand in envy and in the dire need of protecting others. When Alora said that aloud, he felt the need to comfort her. He set aside the difference among the two houses, hurried in front of her and stopped her in the path she was walking,"You can do this." He paused, a playful smirk danced on his lips,"Wasn't meant for you." He tuurned on his heel and hurried up the steps. (Why did I find this so cute im so done After being explained of what dementors are, Raven could no longer sleep. She wanted to walk for a moment, but she knew she was trapped within the common room. She desperatley wanted to see Maggie. She remained posied and reserved. Peter felt full of confidence that seemed to ignite the moment he heard dementors were around the school. He lifted his wand and performed a curse, that changed the two slytherin boys....into birds. Peter hurriiedly left the bathroom and slid into the commons room without anyone noticing.

James could hear the wind rattling the windows, the color draining out of his face. He knew the dementors were very near. And he didn't like it one bit. He turned towards the other prefect who was supposed to be there, awake with him. But much to his demise, she had fallen asleep. The fire died out not soon after. "lumos" He whispered, letting his wand be his light. - Maggie laid her head on the edge of the couch, trying not to fall asleep. But she couldn't help but let her mind wander...what if she fell asleep and Raven was still awake? Would she still be able to see what's going on with her? All she wanted was the comfort of someone there. Even if it was through a dream. -- Alora smirked. "Whatever you say." She said, sprinting up the stairs ahead of him. "You take that end, I'll stay on this side. You know the charm, hopefully." Alora joked, smiling at him. She held her wand at her side, searching the sky for dementors. She could feel her energy just being drained from her because they were so near.

Andrew felt the energy within him was pleading to die out. He saw one dementor float pass him. Something strange engulfed him. His father explained about how his best friend had saw a deer dancing before him and bringing to life a spell that blew away the dementors. Andrew blinked through the darkness muttering Lumos. He backed away sharply, wondering if Alora was seeing what he was seeing. A deer was dancing around the night sky, three deers to be exact, that shined brighter then the moon. Whatever it was, the dementors were terrified. Raven was lost in her thought until she thought about Maggie once more. What if there was a way to speak to her through her mind? That thought alone stunned Raven silent. How would she dare even begin to do it? But a part of her wanted too. She clasped her hands in front of her as she walked, pacing for a moment before she thought aloud: Maggie. I'm scared.

Maggie opened her eyes instantly. What's wrong? Dementors aren't that bad. I mean they are, but if we are where we are supposed to be, then we're fine. She thought, hoping Raven got her message. If telepathy was a thing, then this was it. "I hope this works." She muttered to herself. -- Alora pointed her wand at the dementor coming right for her. "EXPECTO PATRONUM" She cried out, as a beam of light shot from the end of her wand, and a form of a rabbit came out. Chasing three dementors away, they all scatteredfrom her and flew southward away from the school. She breathed out, astonished at what she did.

Andrew didn't shoot a charm. He tried but failed. However, deers were dancing around the scene. He walked to the balcony, leaned over and his eyes widened. He turned, yelled at Alora,"LOOK DOWN!" Peter rejected the idea of going back to the common room. He went in there for merely a second before wanting to join the battle, he didn't feel drained. He felt rushed and excited all at once. He lifted his wand, yelled,"Expecto Patronum!", and the deers, he formed, chased them. ((OOOOOOOOOH GIRLLLLLL) Raven sat still in the commons then until her mind had a voice other her own. I was living a sheltered life in London, Maggie. I was going to a private school. I didn't even hear about this school..I was..in a muggle family? Whatever that means. Apparently, it's a negative thing?

"Go! Help the Professors! I have to stay up here and keep them away from Trewlaney's room! I will be fine! Please, go!" Alora shouted at Andrew. She knew he couldn't successfully use a patronus charm. She knew that she could hold down the fort up here. She also just didn't want Andrew to get hurt. -- James got up and out of the common room, being yelled at by the portrait that hung from the entrance. He didn't care at this point, he knew he needed to help. And he could pull off the patronus charm, it wouldn't be as difficult as it was for others. Racing up the stairs, he found Andrew and Alora standing there, Andrew in shock. He saw a dementor coming near Alora, so he screamed out "Expecto Patronum" as a horse came out of his wand and flew towards the dementor. -- Neither of your parents are able to use magic correct? Then don't let Alora, the head girl, catch you. She'll call you the worst possible name. She will call you a mudblood. I have heard stories about when her father fought Hermione Granger, and then he called her a mudblood because she had muggle parents. maggie thought, not wanting to upset Raven. But, muggles aren't terrible. I'm a half-blood. One of my parents is a muggle.

Andrew stared at Alora, impressed. He was thankful that she didn't embarss him about the charm, he would thank her later. He started to leave, glanced at James, and muttered,"I'll be downstairs." He left the room, hurried down the steps. Mcgonagall emotions were conflicted she studied Peter. Peter was running, chanting and laughing as he stood in the middle of the school grounds. His power had heightened. The dementors were no longer attacking the students above, they seemed to float around Peter, remainding at his side. HOwever, Peter didn't know what was happening really. He felt the happiest he did in a long time. He was twriling, waving his wand in the air, shouting spells, where it seemed HE was controlling the dementors. Mcgonagall hoped the students above no longer sent charms. Andrew watched surprisingly, before Mcgonagall commanded for him to return to Alora and tell her to stop. Andrew was hesitant before he hurried back up the steps. (man, that is so creepy) Raven had more questions that she didn't even know how to continue. Who is Voldemort? Why is he such a big thing around here?

Alora dropped her wand, energy drained from her. She sunk to the ground on her knees, defeated. "I..should've stopped earlier." She whispered out loud. "Damn." She chuckled to herself before falling over, passing out from exhaustion. -- "Alora? Alora! Andrew!!" James yelled down the stairs, praying he came back up to help him. Dashing over to Alora's limp figure, he cradled her head in his lap. "episkey." James said, waving his wand over Alora's body, trying to heal some of the problems that could've occurred. "Anytime now Andrew." He muttered. -- Maggie cleared her throat. Voldemort is a dark wizard. He wantedto wreak havoc on everything. There were these things called the Death Eaters. It's all such a blur for me, really. Basically, Harry Potter defeated him at the Battle of Hogwarts sometime ago. Maggie didn't dare mention that Voldemort was her father.

Andrew heard his name being called, ascending the steps two at a time. He headed to Alora's limp body, sliding his hands around her waiste, cradling him in his arms steadily. "You won't believe what I am about to do, but trust me," Andrew mutted to himself and James. He looked at James,"Peter is one hell of a wizard," He said slowly before he stared at Peter, then screamed for him. Peter stopped dancing, his wand coming back down. "The Head Girl is injured," "Alora?" Peter asked carefully. The disturbing thing happened next, Peter walked gracefully across the middle ground before pointing his wand upwards. The dementors, had no effect on Peter. He was lifted in the air, while he enchanted a small spell on Alora. Andrew's knees threatened to quiver due to the energy being sucked out of him. Peter noticed, stared at them in silence, before they flew back into the nightsky. He looked at James, Andrew then Alora. (Dude im just saying that is SCARY AS HELL to think about, i freaked myself out. I have Satan spawn as my character) Raven sighed inwardly. A dark wizard? Evil, I assume?

Maggie nodded, even though Raven couldn't see her. Yes, he is. Most evil there was. But he's gone. There's always a fear of something as big as that happening again. But it most likely won't, so don't worry. By the way, what's your timetable look like? -- (I can only imagine, oh my) "Th-thank you Peter." James stammered out, looking down at Alora's now regularly breathing body. "She'll be fine, right?" He asked, looking up at him and then to Andrew, who looked terrible. The dementors really did something to him...gotta ask him later. He thought. "Or should we take her to Madam Pomfrey?"

Why would people want to be evil? Do they get obsessed with power or something? I'm not worried, i'm still in shock that we are even talking like this..and my what? Raven stared at her hands, sitting on the couch in the common's room. Andrew was about to speak before Peter chimed in casually,"No, you don't need too. She'll be fine." Peter stared at James, smiled before heading towards the castle once more. Mcgonagall was standing inside the castle, observing by the balcony while noticing Alora. She looked at Peter, where as Peter, smiled brightly before heading down the steps. Mcgonagall, knew something about Peter that was undeniably dangerous that she couldn't quite explain to anyone else just yet. She didn't know what to make of it. After Peter left, Andrew raised his eyebrow. "Do not listen to him, something...something is off. Take her to madam pomfrey's, and quick."

Power is a very dangerous thing, Raven. Remember that. Oh and um...your schedule. It tells you what classes you have and when! I have herbology first with the Hufflepuffs. Maggie said, staring at the ceiling and frowning when she couldn't remember the rest of her time table. -- "I'll go. What are you going to do?" James asked, wrapping one of Alora's arms around his shoulder and slowly walking down the stairs. "Don't tell me you're just going to stay up here. Help me get to Pomfrey's." He requested, still going down stairs.

Andrew gave a slow, staggering breath then nodded reluctantly. "Fine, yeah I can do that." Andrew was undeniably embarssed at his own mess. He could feel himself wanting to talk to Mcgonagall about no longer being the Head Boy. He believed he wasn't good enough for this. While his mind got lost in thought, silent and quick down the saircase, he glanced at James. "Something is off about that kid, do you think so?" Raven felt a cold chill pass throughout her before she responded to Maggie. I don't remember my schedule well, but I remembered having herbology first. I don't know why I'm here, this is more different then i expected.

Maggie chuckled to herself. You're here for a reason. You have something special about you that is needed here at Hogwarts. Hoggy Hog Hogwarts. It's better than it seems to be as we get further into the year. -- "I do. But let's not jump to conclusions just yet. And I know what you're thinking. You are going to make an excellent Head Boy. Don't let your conscious get to you mate. You didn't make this mess. It's Azkaban's fault. They obviously want something." James said, practically dragging Alora down the hall and towards Madam Pomfrey's room.

I know..but I have no special abilities. I can't..cast charms and use a wand. It's weird. But, I don't know. I am going to go to classes tomorrow and see if this changes.Raven looked up, surprised, that one of her Hufflepuff roomates was speaking to her. She smiled, attempting to listen intently. Once Madam Pomfrey's room came into view, Andrew liked how close James and him were but sometimes, it irritated him. Nothing was private between them because James was the good guesser when it came to his thoughts. He didn't respond, he remained silent as Madam Pomfrey's eyes widened in concern. He looked at James, to speak.

You will do it. I know you can. But Raven, can we go to sleep now? I prefer seeing you instead of just talking to you like this. Maggie requested, rubbing her eyes slightly. It was getting late, and she had been lying on the couch in the common room for quite sometime. -- "She's cast the patronus charm twice in the past hour, Madam. She is feeling the effects of it, from what I understand. We think there's something more wrong." James explained. "Get her in here, on a bed. Now." The nurse said, as Andrew and James lugged Alora in the infirmary and laid her on a cot. "I will need to do some things. Only one of you is allowed to stay though." She instructed. James nodded at Andrew before leaving the infirmary and heading back to the Gryffindor common room to find all of the prefects still asleep. Great. He thought. Can't trust any of these rejects.
