Roleplay-ing

"Sure, thanks." Adam smiled and reached his arm over to pickup some of the noodles. He took a bite and nodded, "I've actually never tried this, it's really good." he nodded and then continued to eat some of his food. Adam would look up every now and then to check if Melena was alright, and sometimes to just enjoy the view. She was beautiful and all his.

"Does staying home count? Adam and Melena are together now so I don't want to go with them and bother them." she let out a small smile, as much as she enjoyed them two finaly being together she didn't always want to tag along and be a third wheeler. She sighed and put her head on Matty's sholder. 

"Well I'm stuffed." Melena said, setting her fork down. She only ate about halfof the food but there was so much. "Looks like it's getting dark out." She said, looking around Adam's head. "We should watch the sunset sometime." She said, smiling.

"Do you wanna go with me? I'm not going to take Lilly because she's being a brat and I'm going to dump her anyway." Matty said. "Wait,  didn't mean to phrase it like that let me rethink that. Would you want to go to homecoming with me?" He asked again, suddenly very nervous.

"Yeah, that would be great sometime." Adam smiled taking alittle mental note for a date idea, watch the sunset. He ate a bit more than half his food, he called the waitor and asked him if he could wrap these to go. Adam thanked the waitor and looked at Melena, "Do you want desert? We can share."

Violet stood still, it was weird for her, she's never been to homecoming, the game yeah but not the dance. Violet didn't know what to say, "I - uh, I don't know. I've never really, people will see us. Your friends and Lilly, she'll probably kill me. Well I - " she cut herself off she picked up her head and looked at Matty, "I'm sorry Matt. I'd love to go with you but, I'm me and you're you." her eyes fell down to his chest then she whispered, "I don't think we can go together."

"Well what's good here? I'm down for anything." Melena asked, pulling her twenty dollar bill out of her pocket for the week. "I'm paying for mine. You can't say no." She said, smirking.

"C'mon Vi. It's senior year. And since when did you care what people thought about you? That's not the Violet I know. The Violet I know would still do crazy stuff with me. Fine. How about we skip the dance and go do something? I don't want to go anyway." He offered. He honestly had no interest in going.

"Fine." Adam mumbled before taking out twenty and ten dollars as a tip. He knew the place well and always gave them high tips. The waiter came to bring the check and a couple of mints. The waiter thanked the two before bowing and leaving. Adam thanked the waiter and looked at Melena after he left, "How about some frozen yogurt?"

Violet looked up at Matty with excitement in her eyes, she nodded, "Yes, I'd like that." she smiled then a thought hit her, "Hey, why don't we go out to a field and do some fireworks? I've always seen people in music videos do it and I don't know it seems fun." she shugged and smiled, they were finally going to be close again, just like back in the day.

"Sounds good to me. I know this awesome place down onthird street. Fantastic yogurt." Melena said, grabbing her mint and standing up. "So to third street?" She asked, after paying at the register and getting her change.Taking a hold of Adam's hand and walking out of the restaurant, Melena smiled ot herself.

"I think that'd be awesome. You know where to get any fireworks?" Matty asked, squeezing Violet and protecting her from the oncoming cold. "I think we might still have some in my basement from Labor Day." He said, thinking about how much fireworks they bought for Labor Day and they didn't even use half of it.

Adam smiled and nodded, he gave her a small peck before opening the door for her and climbing into his side. He put his seat belt on and pulled out of the parking space and onto the road. He rolled down his window letting some air in and then drove down the road until he turned into third street.

Violet smiled, "I might have some in my garage. We just need to load them and drive." She got some chills of the cold picking up in the air. Resting her head back on Matty's sholder she looked up to see the sky now a deep violet colour which made her smile.

"Right there. Yoggie's Yogurt." Melena said, sitting forward and pointing at the little froyo shop. "Let's go." She said, once Adam parked. She was practically bouncing in her seat. "Seriously this is amazing yogurt." She said, unbuckling and hopping out of the car, waiting for Adam in front of the car.

"Violet for Violet." Matty said with a chuckle. "I'm interested to see how our little plan is going to work out in a few weeks." He added. "It's getting cold, wanna go in for some food? There's probably some leftover pizza in my fridge."

Adam got out of his car and looked up at the place, it was a very nice and even had an outside patio. He held the door open for Melena and walked in. He saw that it was self serve so he grabbed a cup and scanned the flavors before looking back at Melena, "Which one is good?"

"Sure." Violet felt Matty let go of her. She felt the instant cold hit her, as he let go and helped her up and in through his window. Looking around his room it had greatly changed since the last time she came here. The colour was the same but the furniture was not, "You've redecorated... I don't like it. Much better and childish before." she smiled until she spotted something in the corner of his room, an acoustic guitar which she gave him many years back and even taught him a couple of songs. 

"I personally like all of them. But birthday cake is what's really good." Melena said, filling aa little bit of froyo in her cup and then putting tons of toppings on it. "Trust me, it's fantastic. It's an orgasm in your mouth." She said with a smirk.

"Yeah, i have..." Matty said, scratching the back of his neck. "I tried to play guitar a few more times but I could never really get the hang of it without you helping me." He added, opening the door to go downstairs and into the kitchen to get pizza. "You coming?" He asked, turning around to see her still gawking at his room.

"Hm fine, I'm taking your word." he smiled and put some of the birthday cake froyo along with some vanila. He walked over to the toppings and put a few of sparkles and some nutella on top. He smiled pretty satisfied after putting a couple of more toppings on. Walking over he took out his wallet to pay and looked back at Melena and nodded for her to come.

"O-Oh yeah." she laughed a bit and smiled. Taking one last look she followed him out his room. The rest of his house was the same, a couple of changes here and there but other than that everything was the same. She walked down the stairs and into his kitchen. She sat on the counter and waved her feet as he warmed up the pizza.

Melena huffed as she piled cheesecake bits on top and some caramel. "I'm not going to fight you on this one." She said, setting her cup on the counter. As Adam got his money out ot pay, she admired the shape of his face and the way he was so much taller than her. She knew it was weird, but she was so happy about him finally being hers.

Matty grabbed the pizza from the fridge and set it on the pizza stone, into the oven to warm it up. "Wanna watch a movie or something?" He asked, sitting next to her on the counter. "It'll just be like old times. We can even build a fort." He said with a smile.

Adam smiled and thanked the guy then waited for his change, looking down at Melena which was already looking at her he furrowed his brows then laughed. He got his change and thanked the guy again. "C'mon, where do you want to sit?" Adam smiled and grabbed his cup from the counter looking at a couple of empty seats.

A smile grew on Violets face as she nodded, "Yes, oh I want to change then." she wanted to put on some comfy clothes just like old times, pj's and forts. She looked down at their dangling legs, his were much longer than hers, "I used to be taller than you." she mummbled, she suddenly stoped growing in high school.

"How about right here?" Melena said, pointing at a table outside on  the patio. "No one will bother us out here." She said with a shy smile. "C'mon." She said, walking out of the shop and out to the patio where no one was. She took a seat in a random chair and smiled, sticking her spoon in her cup then in her mouth. "Foodgasm."

"I have shorts and stuff upstairs if you don't want to go back home." Matty offered. "Yeah, but then I got my growthspurt and now look at us.I'm a giant." He joked. "Pizza's done." He said, smelling the melted cheese. "Want some icecream too? There's some in the freezer. I won't eat any tonight because of the game tomorrow." He said, pulling the pizza stone out of the oven. 

Adam laughed as he sat down. He took a try out of the birthday cake and looked at Melena with a staight face, "You're right. Foodgasm." he said the last part in a high squeeky voice, and she laughed. Oh how he loved that laugh, he could even hear it for the rest of his life.

"Ah I'll pass on the ice cream." she jumped off the counter and was suddenly very close to him, she looked at his chest and mummbled, "Ah sorry." she steped out of the kitchen and sat down on one of the island chairs. She waited for the pizza and suddenly very small. 

"You have to admit. I'm pretty smart when it comes to choosing desserts." Melena said, with a laugh. She looked up from her yogurt to look at Adam. "What movies are we planning on watching tomorrow night?' She askedsimply, pulling her sleeves over her hands.

Matty sighed when Violet walked away. Only if she knew. "Pizzas done." He called, pulling the stone form the overn and grabbing two plates and two glasses for some drink. "What do you want to drink?" He asked, opening the fridge and pulling out a gallon of milk.

Adam at his yogurt, he smiled and looked up at Melena feeling soft cold winds hit them he saw her tugging on her sleeves, "Are you cold? We can finish these in my car." Adam smiled, "O-or you can wear my sweater." he was already taking off his navy blue cardigen before she replied. He put the knitted cardigen over her sholders and smiled, "Any movie you want."

Violet laughed when she saw the milk, "Pizza and milk. Same old Door-Matt." She shugged, "Uh water should be fine." she smiled and watched him pour the milk then going back to the fridge to get some water. She then looked at him, he did grow a lot since middle school, and his hair was a bit longer than usual. Matty turned around and they instantly made eye contact, she quickly looked down at the empty glass.

"I'm alright. Thank you. I actually finished my yogurt." She said, sticking her tongue out at him. "It was delicious." She added, getting up and throwing her cup away before returning to the table. "Well I'm not one for scary movies." She contemplated.

"Milk does a body good, Vi." Matty said, pouring hismilk and going back to the fridge for water. He turned around once he grabbed her a bottle. "I-um...you should you wanted to change? I'll go get you some shorts and a shirt." He said, excusing himself from the kitchen to go grab her some clothes. 

"Ha, same. How about a comedy or like a animation move?" Adam smiled then he got an idea, "Hey what about stuido ghibli movies?" he got very excited, he loved studio ghibli movies, they were his favorite as a child and they still are now.

"Oh make that a sweater!" she yelled before he got to the stairs. She drank some water he poured before going up. Letting out a small sigh she felt her stomach grumble, she got a slice of pizza and started to eat it. She looked around his kitchen and then she suddenly started to realise the small changes like the handels on the cabnets.

"I have Spirited Away at my house. I think we should watch that one." Melena said, smiling widely. "It's my favorite." She added, standing up. "Should we get going?" She asked, looking around at the sky darkening.

Matty chuckled before grabbing a pair of his basketball shorts for Violet and a pair for himself and changing, then grabbing her one of his bigger sweaters to put on. Walking back downstairs he handed her the clothes. 'Good enough?" He asked, smiling.
