"Fine, fine I'll let you try.. A couple thing.. Does that mean we're dating?" Adam's smile grew as the thought of Melena actually liking him and calling him her boyfriend was just unreal but yet sureal.

Violet swore under her breath and picked herself up telling a couple of people to "Fuck off." Rolling her eyes she pushed her way out the door and shoved a couple of people. Rolling her eyes before she spoted Adams black jeep and then Melena and Adam doing cute couple stuff. She smiled and walked the other way not wanting to 'disturb' them.

"Whatever." Lilly sighed and grabbed her bag then left. Walking down her driveway she looked back to see Matty's truck rolling away. She sighed and felt the tears weld up in her eyes which was when she pulled out her phone to text Dylan, Mattys best friend, : Come over please ~ L *

"I mean, you still have to ask me out properly, silly." Melena said, smiling widely. "But I'd never say no to you." She added, standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek. "Let's go get some food first before I teach you." She said, walking away from him and grabbing her board and hopping in the jeep.

Freddie saw Violet walk in front of his car and smiled. Jumping out he yelled to her, "Need a ride?" He asked, smirking.

Matty sped off back to his house and pulling into the driveway. "I can't have her. I don't want her. Why did I just lie to her face?" He questioned himself, texting Violet.I need to talk. PLEASE come over when you get home. 

Adam nodded and hopped in his car. Turning it on he pulled out of the drive way then asked her, "So where too?" he smiled as he turned out of the school's street and onto the main street. He was just so happy to finally have Melena with him alone, he needed to start to plan a date, today and tomorrow don't really count so maybe the weekend.

Violet saw Freddie and a smile quickly appeared on her face she nodded and hopped in, "Oh man thank god, my house is far." She laughed with Freddie. She wanted to put her feet up but then she remebered its not Adams car. She looked over at Freddie and asked,"Thanks for picking up some random hitchhiker." Violet looked down at her phone to see a message, reading it she let out a small sigh and looked up, "Oh do you know where my house is?"

With that Lilly walked in her house and changed clothes into some comfy sweats before the doorbell rang. A smile appeared on her face and she let Dylan in. "Thank god you came." she smiled and led him to her room.

"I'm down for anything but pizza. Because that's reserved for movie night. What do you want? I'm paying too, just wanted to throw that out there." Melena said, watching out the window with a newfound look on the world. She was so happy that she was finally able to be alone with Adam.

Freddie chuckled. "I might have a vague idea. I'm pretty sure I do though." He said, veering in and out of traffic like a pro and towards the ncier side of town where he knew Violet lived and next door was his former best friend Matty's house. "Here you go, lovely. See ya?" He said, pulling into her drive way.

Matty sat on his porch and watched as Violet got dropped off by, he cringed, Freddie. Why had he ever been friends with him in the first place? He was nothing but a total dweeb. A dweeb that did his homework but still. 

"If you insist but I'm paying half." He gave her a small glare then looked back on the road before he turned into a small Chinese restaurant drive way, "They have the best noodles but it's a bit pricy so I have to pay half." Adam smiled and turned his car off and looked over at Melena.

Violet nodded and then said, "Are you free tomorrow? Well Adam is having a small movie night and him and Melena and I wanted to know if you would like to come?" Violet asked with his car door open and one of her legs out, she would look at Matty from the corner of her eye but her eyes were set on Freddie.

"Fine." Melena said with a fake huff. "So you suggest the noodles, huh? Well, we will have to see about that." She said with a smile as she got out of the Jeep and started walking towards the restaurant.

Freddie contemplated. "Yeah I am. Text me the details?" He asked, smiling at her. It seemed like fun. And actually going out and not having his mom bitch at him also made the idea even better. "Need me to bring anything tomorrow night?" He asked quickly, before she got out of the car. 

Adam once again held the door open for her, they were quickly greeted then seated as the restaurant was not that full. He waited for her to sit before he sat down. He thanked the waiter and then opened the menu which was already on the tables. He looked up at Melena and smiled, "Random fact, my parents and I always used to come here when I was younger. Only place I'll ever eat Chinese food from because, it's the best."

Violet shook her head as she ducked down, "Nope everything already planned, you just need so show up. Thanks for the ride though, I'll see you tomorrow." she smiled and watched him pull out of the drive way then waved at him as he drove off. Letting out a small sigh she turned around to see a very sad but not as Matty.

"Thank you kind gentleman." Melena said before sitting down and opening her menu. "Interesting. Never been here. Pad thai does sound super good right about now though." She said, still thumbing through the menu. "What are you going to get?" She asked, looking up as the waiter brought them waters.

Matty looked up at Violet and smiled sadly. He nodded before standing up to stretch. "It's no big deal, really.Just Lilly. Meet me on the roof in twenty?" He asked, turning around and not waiting for an answer from her. Their roofs almost touched so whenever they needed to talk to one another, as children, they would always go onto the roof and talk.

"I was thinking of some chicken teriyaki stir fry. It's the best, trust me." he smiled and nodded a the waiter as he took a small sip of his water then looked at Melena and gave her a little smile before looking back down at his menu even though he knew what he was getting.

Violet let out a small sigh and walked in her house. Closing the door behind her she slipped her boots off and walked up to her room. Throwing her bag on her bed she walked over to her mirror to check her hair which was alright not the best. Scoffing she fixed her black beanie a bit before opening her blinds to reveal Matty already on his roof. She climbed out her window and layed back, "Ah girl problems. You really picked a great one this time door Matt."

"Well i can try some of yours." Melena said as the waiter came back. "I'll have the chicken pad thai please. Medium." She ordered, looking across the table at Adam as he ordered.When the waiter took their menus she smiled. "I'm excited.

Matty groaned. "Please don't do this. I really need help right now." He said, lying back on the roof's surface. "I don't know if I love her. Like she wanted to have sex. And I thought I did too. but I realized that I didn't. And I don't think that I love her because I won't have sex with her. but that's what's she's telling me. That I won't have sex so I don't love her." Matty said. 

"Of course you can." Adam smiled as he took another sip of his water, he looked around and saw a few more people come in the resturant. He looked over at Melena and smiled then said, "Trust me. They make great food here." he somewhat ranout of thing to say. He didn't even have to say anything because they didn't have awkward silences, it was a comfoting silence

"Oh a lot of info." Violet thought for a moment before she said anything again. She felt some tension in the air well, before they even talking about sex or drugs they were talking about stupid things like waterguns and forts. She let out a small sigh before saying, "Well you could love her and not have sex. Maybe she's just one of those creepy people that thinks sex is the key to love and if she does well then I don't know.. I won't say brake up with her because you do love her but maybe try to tell her how sex isn't always the key to love."

Melena smiled and nodded, looking at Adam's hands resting on the table. She reached over and grabbed one of his hands with both of hers and laughed. "Your hands are giant." She noted.

"I tried to explain that to her. But she won't listen to me. I just didn't feel like it was right, you know? I don't think she's the one I want to have my first time with." Matty said, lacing his hands behind his head. "So what's up with you and Fred?" He asked jokingly. "Anything new going on with you?"

Adam couldn't help but laugh, "Maybe yout hands are just tiny." he smiled as she basicaly inspected her hands, he would laugh every now and then before their hands laced and his cheeks suddenly turned a bit pink. He smiled and looked down hoping she wouldn't realise.

Violet shruged, "Nothing I just invited him over to a movie night with, wink wink Adam and wink wink Melena. I'm pretty sure their together now. I'm really happy for them, they've liked eachother since forever and now." Violet let out a heart full sigh out as if they were her little seeds now blooming into beautful flowers. She watched as the sky changed into a light pink colour and the clouds were floating orange. She looked over at Matty then said, "Why did Freddie dropping me off here bother you? Every guy I hang out with bothered you." she srugged and looked back up at the sky.

Melena pouted as she looked at her hands. After lacing her fingers with Adam's she looked up and saw his face slightly tinged pink before he looked down. "Aw, you're so cute when you're embarrassed." She commented, reaching over the table a running a thumb over his cheek.

"I just don't want you to get hurt. But Freddie seems like a good kid for you. If you like him then go on." Matty said, sitting up. "I miss being a kid." He said, looking over across the street to where the sun was setting. "Like when we were kids we actually liked being outside." He said with a sigh. 

Melenas hand made Adam blush even more, "I- uh, just I." he didn't know what to say, he felt the coldness on his warm face as he knew he was blushing harder than before. He smiled and let out a small sigh, he put his hand ontop of hers and smiled.

"Oh please getting hurt is falling over and scraping your knee. But thanks for the aprovel." she felt awkward that he thought she liked Freddie, sure he was attractive looking but she wasn't sure if Freddie even liked girls or what type of girls he was into. She smiled and said, "Yeah and we hated bed time. Good thing our parents never found out about this, many slept in days." She remembered when they would sneek over eachothers rooms and night just to build blanket forts or pull all nighters then going back to their rooms and crashing.

"This is going to take some getting used to for you, isn't it?" Melena asked, grinning like the chesire cat. "It's okay if it does. Just know that I'm going to mess with you the whole way." She added, as the waiter came back with their food.

"That was the best part. Why don't we ever hang out anymore, Vi? I think once middle school hit we both just left. Yeah there are still times where we're out here and talking but that's once every few months. I haven't talked to you in almost a year. What happened to us?" Matty asked out loud, meaning for it to be in his head. 

Adam thanked the waiter again as he felt his cheeks finally returing to their normal temperature. He unwraped his chopsticks and looked up at Melena, "Chopsticks or fork?" he smiled as he set the chopsticks on his hand without even looking.

Violet didn't know how to respond she knew the responce, she never left. He did, she would spend endless nights on the roof alone waiting for him for when they would have their same time to meet every night, 9pm. He stopped showing up and even in highschool she would just come out at 9 just to see if he would ever show up. Letting out a small sigh Violet responed with what she's always wanted to say, "You got popular, an- and forgot about me." 

"I think I'll try chopsticks but I don't know if I'm any good at using them." Melena said shyly, unwrapping her chopsticks and setting them exactly how Adam had in her hand. "Don't laugh at me if I can't do it." She added, picking up some noodles with her sticks and watching them slip out. She grunted. "Fuck." She muttered, switching over to a fork.

"I never meant to do that. " Matty said, sitting up and staring at her. "Come over here." He requested, opening his arms for her to come and hug him. He never meant to leave her behind, he always just got caught up in things and never made it out to the roof. Usually that thing was Lilly.

Adam tried not to laugh, "It's okay, I'll teach you when we order some next time." He smiled, there actually will be a next time too, its not like this was just a one day, this was forever. He ate some of his teriyaki then looked up at her wiping his mouth with the cloth, "Do you want to try some of mine?" he smiled and then continued, "It's really good."

Violet looked at him and let out a small sigh, she got up, stepped over the gap and before she could even fully sit he was already pulling her in for the hug. She made herself comfterable and let out a small sigh, "I just wish maybe we could've shared friends. You and Adam would've get along great." she smiled, the thought of all of them being friends would only ever be a dream.

"Of course." Melena said, reaching her arm across the table and stuck her forck in the stir fry. Pulling her arm back she took a bite. "This is actually really good. I might have to get this next time." She said, smiling after she swallowed. "Want to try some of mine?" She asked.

"I see him around a lot. You two seem like great friends." Matty said, running his hand up and down Violet's arm. "I think I'm going to break up with Lilly soon. I don't think it'll last anyway. I feel all wrong in the relationship." He said, sighing. "Any plans for homecoming?" He asked Violet,getting an idea.
