Roleplay-ing

Melina laughed as she flipped the pancakes, setting a stack on a plate and turning off the stove. "Dig in." She said, setting the plate on the table and she sat down, grabbing three pancakes herself and putting butter and syrup on them.

"Of course." Matty said, setting his menu down. "Why wouldn't I be?" He asked, taking a drink of the orange juice that the waitress brought him. He placed their orders and reached across the table, lacing his fingers with Violet. "Seriously Vi, I'm fine with it."

"Mmm. I'm such a good cook." Adam smiled as he ate a couple of bites of his first syrup covered pancake. "Thank god you cook love." he leaned over the tabled and gave her a soft kiss and sat down. He took a few more bites with a big smile.

"Thank you Matt." She smiled and saw the waitress walk up to them asking if they were ready. "Um I'll have the French toast, eggs and fruits combo with some coffee and a glass of iced water, thanks." she smiled as the waitress wrote it all down then looked over at Matty.

"Yeah, or else we'd starve." Melina added, grinning. She took a few bites and groaned. "Melt in your mouth, my gosh." She said gleefully. "I'm such a good cook. I think I just figured out what I'm going to college for."

"Grand slam with this oragne juice. Thank you." He said, nodding at the waitress as she walked away. "So, Vi." Matty said, staring at her. "What have you done the past few months?"

"Really?" Adam said with excitement, "This causes for a celebration." He smiled as an old idea poped back inhis head. "But first lets eat then go, alright?" he placed his hand on the table and reached for hers, he squezed her hand and hate his pancakes all happily.

"Oh, well, nothing really." She looked downat her hands on the table as she remebered those dark nights on the roof she'd think about the old days as she thought Matty was in his room with someone else. She sighed and shook the thought away, "What about you?" she smiled saddly hoping he would say nothing.

"Go where?" Melina mused, turning her head to the side as she ate her pancakes and took a sip of her coffee. "We don't need to celebrate me figuring out college, it's not that big of a deal." She stated simply. "Seriously."

"I learned how to paint. Better than I already could. And I picked my guitar back up..." He said, drifting off as he looked out the window. "Nothing could distract me from the fact that you were literally right across the roof from me. It took everything I had not to burst into your room some nights."

Adam smiled, "Well of course we do, who knows right? Maybe you'll become the finest chief of America like the American Gordon Ramsay but 10 times nicer." He laughed a bit to himself and ate some more then said, "This is apart of finding yourself, so we have to celebrate. This isn't about college, it's about you finding something you enjoy doing and may do it as a profession."

Violet gave him a soft smile, "Yeah I spent a couple of nights on the roof hoping for you to come out or even open your window." Looking down at the table she let out a soft sigh, "But I have been collecting some old cameras, I've been fixing some up and testing a couple."

"But what if I change my mind? What if I hate cooking actually? I just feel really pressured about everything now. I think I really want to cook as a profession. Yeah. i do." Melina said, all in one breath. "Thank you for putting up with me."

"You'll have to show me soon." Matt said as the waitress came back with their food. "Thank you." He told her as she nodded and walked away, smiling at them as she did. "I've always wanted to try photography, but you were always so much better at it."

"Theres no rush anyways, you have plenty of time. I'll always be here for when you do finally decide or never decide." he smiled and held her hand as he continued to eat some of his pancakes. "We can go feed the chickens after and check up on their eggs." He smiled.

Violet smiled, "You were never bad though." she started to cut up some of her french toast and taking a few bites before continuing, "Maybe one day we can go and take a few photos." she smiled, "I'll teach you some tricks I've learned."

"I'd love it." Melina said, smiling as she ate a bite of her pancakes. "I can't wait to start our lives together..." She mumbled, running her finger over the ring that lay on her left ring finger. "Can we go for a walk in the woods later? I want to get some pictures..."

"I'd enjoy that." Matty said, taking a bite of his eggs. "Do you really want to know where we're going today? Because I'll finally tell you." Matty asked, smirking at Violet's expression change. 

"Of course we can." he smiled taking a sip of his coffee then a bite of his pancakes, quickly finishing up he was left with his coffee, drinking up he said, "Eat up, it's going to be a busy day." he picked up his plate and walked over to the sink then he begain to wash his plate.

Violet nodded, "Yes, please tell." she smiled as the waitress returned with their food, she thanked her and didn't even bother with the food, looking back at Matty as she tried to read his expression which was filled with excitement.

Melina shoved the rest of her pancakes in her mouth and muttered, "I'm done!" With a full mouth. She swallowed and finished her coffee, rushing over to the sink to wash her plate. "I need to shower...care to join?"

"Cedar Point. It has the tallest and fastest roller coasters and thrill rides in the country. but if we don't want to ride rides, we can play games and stuff." Matty said, suddenly becoming very quiet. What if Violet didn't like roller coasters or rides anymore. 

Smiling he answered with, "Does that even need to be a question?" he walked over to her and pulled her waist closer to him. He kissed her head along with a hug and then smiled, "Lets go, shall we?"

Violet smiled, "You never changed." she took a sip of her coffee then begain to cut up her french toast. "It's not a bad thing if you were wondering." she took another sip of coffee then looked up at him trying to read his expression again as his face grew harder to read, maybe she just forgot his expressions.

Melina grinned, dragging Adam upstairs to the bathroom. She turned on the shower, letting the water heat up. Stripping herself, she grinned devilishly at Adam before hopping into the shower before he could see much of anything.

"I just..." Matty said, shaking his head as he ate his food. "Nevermind. Let's just have a good day today, yeah?" He asked, trying to perk himself back up and into a better mood. He was never good with telling if something someone said to him was good or bad, he just always assumed it was bad. The waitress brought over the bill and Matty immediately handed her his card, nodding when she said she would return. 

Biting his lip Adam quickly undressed as he pulled the shower curtain a bit and stuck his foot in. Stepping inside he smiled as he saw Melina infront of him looking beauitful as ever. He kissed her head then pulled her in for a hug as the warm water now hit his back.

Violet looked up at Matty, "I have cash." she dug through her purse but it was too late, letting out a small sigh she looked up at him and squinted, "I'll get you next time." she smiled as she finished up her coffee and the waitress returned.

"You'll just have to buy the elephant ears at the park then." Matty said, winking. "Ugh, I'm so excited for elephant ears. Deep fried goodness." He signed the check from the waitress and stood up, stretching. "Ready, my love?"

*insert steamy stuff here*

Violet smiled and nodded, oh how he loved thsoe stupid elephant ears. Stopping in her tracks as Matty's voice echoed in her head, he hasn't called her that in what feels like ages. A small smile appeard on her face as she nodded, "Hell yes."

"Let's go." Matty said, grabbing Violet's hand. "We don't have to ride everything today. I just really want to be with you today. You have no idea how long I have been waiting to call you mine again." He said, walking her to the car and standing in between her legs outside the car. "I love you so much." He added, kissing her softly on the lips. 

"Mm" Violet said as she closed her eyes, "I missed this." She looked down at his hands holding hers, smiling she looked up and then said, "I missed us." putting her head on his chest she smiled and closed her eyes as right now she wanted her bed and cuddles.
