Roleplay-ing

"I know." Celia said, and in those two words they held a double meaning.

"A strawberry daquiri. Here's my ID." Matty said, pulling out his wallet and showing her his ID. "You, Lucas?" He asked.

Celia sat on the bench next to a paramedic. She didn't want anything to do with Marlene right now. She was only worried about Lacy and how she was feeling after she woke up.

Matty shrugged. "Probably just pad thai. What about you?" He stated, still glancing over the menu and looking up at Lucas every so often. 

Celia rushed to the ER with the medic, praying in her head that Lacy would make it outof this okay. She couldn't stand to see others hurting. She also couldn't see anyone that had anything ot do with Lacy around. "What the hell?"

"Pad thai sounds good. I want to try your dumplings though." Matty said with a smile as their waitress came back with their daquiris. "Ready to order?" She asked. "I'll take the chicken pad thai, medium with white rice. And  what about you, Lucas?" He asked, turning towards him.

The paramedic nodded briefly before looking at Marlene,"Alright, well if you would like to go home or wait in the waiting room, you may. I'll be speaking to Marlene directly now," He turned on his heel and headed over to Marlene who was now a frantic mess.

"I will, when she brings it back," Lucas smiled and nodded,"I am writing. I write what the hosts have to read on the screen, it's kind of nice. It's easy and simple," He shrugged lightly before scanning the restaurant,"I would've expected a lot of more couples here," He looked at one particuarlly who was seated in a booth by himself, diagonal from them. Lucas caught his eye and he looked extremley familar, but he couldn't place a name before the guy had raised an eye brow at him. Lucas looked away and made a face,"Creepy." 

Celia nodded, turning around and going to go into the waiting room. Pulling her feet up onto the chair with her, she waited. Pulling out her phone, she texted her friend and told her to go check on the apartment for her, as she wouldn't be coming home tonight.

Matty nodded. "Interesting." He stated, looking around. "Me too. But it's saturday, right? Maybe they're all clubbing or something." He said with a chuckle. "What's creepy?" He asked. 

"Nothing," Lucas responded stiffly and smiled timidly,"Just weird is all. I feel like I know that guy," He did the head nod towards the guy in the booth,"He just looks familar I just can't remember how." He paused,"Maybe we should go to a club after this?" He smirked

(I'll go back to Lacy)

Lucas laughed wholeheartedly at the name, realizing that also sounded familar but he couldn't quite remember it. His mind astrayed when the waitress set their food on the table,"Here you are," She said with a sing song voice and set Matty's plate down in front of him. She smooted her apron with her hands and looked at both of them,"How does it look?"

Lucas responded with a warm smile,"Looks great," 

Matty ate his noodles in silence, occasionally looking up to see Lucas eating rice or just looking adorable. How he longed to have him back was filling his heart with sadness. Wiping his mouth, he set the napkin down. "Well, i'm stuffed."

They ate in silence, which wasn't uncomfortable or even the slightly bit off with them, he liked the silence. Lucas had smiled almost at one point because it felt as if they never changed, but then he had remebered seconds later, they aren't anything. They did change, because he did, loving two people at the same time. It was more then difficult it was depressing, because they both seemed to have loved him equally. He finished his plate minutes later, wiping his mouth with a napkin and laughed slightly,"Same, It was delicious." He set the napkin down and looked at Matty. He didn't know what overcame him right then, but he had the urge too kiss him. It was something that he could only compare to a flame; his never burned out but it could turn into a forest fire with a peck on the lips, and only one thought went into his mind towards Delvin,"You must leave him," 

The thought was unsettiling but so calming, that he had almost forgot what his life was now. He blinked once and he forced back his smile and said,"I'll pay for the check." He stated quietly, as the waitress walked over.

"No, you won't." Matty said, digging in his pockets for his wallet. "I'm paying. Don't do this, Lucas." He said seriously, taking the check from the waitress and setting his card on top of it. "Here you go." He stated, handing the check back to the waitress before Lucas could even get his wallet out. "I took you out." He said. "You just have to buy drinks at the club." He joked.
