Lucas grabbed his phone, eyeing Matt carefully before he had taken a step closer too him. He had his phone in his hand but placed it on the couch. "I'm sorry," 

"That's not what I'm apoligizing for." He shook his head slowly before he pressed his lips onto his, it only lasted a second because he pulled himself away. "I really shouldn't have...that's wrong. That's..cheating...oh mygod, I'm sorry,"

Lucas looked at him softly before he cupped Matty's face in his hands and kissed him back even longer, pulling away slightly and whispering,"I missed you too. I'm sorry.."

Lucas looked at him shockingly for a couple of minutes, before he felt Matty's arms around him. He had felt the safest but the intense rush of the nervousness and giddyness he felt before take over him for minutes then suddenly realized he hadn't felt this way wholeheartedly with Delvin. He loved Delvin, because they had saved each other, and he does see himself marrying him because that's what he is suppose to see....after almost a year of dating...right? His mind fell back to Matty almost instantly as he remembered he was his high school sweetheart, and he use to imagine marrying him. He forced himself to stop thinking and take a step away from Matty before he did his famous smirk,"I never gave you my number...but I know where I can find you. I'll see you later," He turned to open the door and walked out.

Celia was wiping down the counters when the doorbell rang. She sighed, tossing her rag in the bucket. "Welcome." She said without looking up. She tied her apron back on and looked over the counter to see Lacy there again. "Lacy?" She asked, mentally punching herself. "It's almost eleven at night. Why are you out?" She asked.

Matty was just fixing some records that had gotten misplaced around the store throughout the day. It had been almost two weeks since he had heard from Lucas, and he was starting to get sad again. He hadn't drank since Lucas came back in his life, but if he didn't come back soon, he would again. Running his hands through his unruly curly hair, he groaned in frustration. 

Lacy was wearing a oversized baggy black hoodie, Jacob's hoodie, dark jeans and converse that wasn't dressed like herself at all. Her curls were pulled back into a loose messy bun. Her eyes looked seemingly tired and she looked stressed but she perfected her british accent once more,"It's Clara, you have gotten me confused with someone else." She smirked but it faded slightly,"Are you guys closing right now?"

It's been two long weeks without speaking too Matty or even seeing him. He only saw him once but he wanted to do it earlier but he's been busy with work and Delvin that he hadn't even had the time to completley feel what happened with Matty then Delvin. The date night didn't happen that night but happened a few nights later. It wasn't as how he always imagined it too be which made him slightly dissapointed but he refused too think bad of it because Delvin wanted to marry him now. As he pulled into the parking lot, he removed the ring from his finger and pushed it into his pocket. He slammed the car door, considering this was his lunch break from work, to take the time to talk to Matty. He walked inside the record store, and headed to the cashier. He didn;t mean for it to come out rushed and frantically but his mind was suddenly rushing the words all out,"We need to talk right now." 

Celia turned at looked at the cook. "Two burgers, Mikey. Make 'em juicy. With everything on them. I'll make the shakes." She said, grabbing the shake glasses. "Always have time for you, Lacy." She said, scooping ice cream into the glasses. "Take a seat at the counter, Mikey back here is fixing something good up."

Matty did a double take. "Wait what?" He asked, confused. "There's no one in here right now. So talk." He said, crossing his hands in front of him. "What happened?" He asked, scared of what Lucas was about ot tell him. 

Lacy strolled in with a small smile forming. It was nice to have a break like this before she had said seriously,"No. Call me Clara," She paused,"Just when I'm out and dressed like this...there's a reason for it. So, call me Clara." She smiled slightly and tilted her head to the side,"I've been craving a burger for nearly two weeks oh my godddd," She laughed, sitting on the stool at the counter.

Lucas stared solemnly and worriedly at Matty, fearing the worst was yet too come. He didn't want too lose him he had just gotten him back over a mistake he had done, but they haven't even finished that conversation yet. He took a step away, shook his head and said,"He asked me to marry him." He looked at Matty painfully,"And if you asked me a couple of months ago if I wanted to marry Delvin, I would say yes in a heartbeat...but now?" His voice went soft and painfully,"I don't know what I want since you came back into my life. And it seemed like he had no interest in marrying me until...I told him that I ran into you and we talked for a little bit and then a couple of days later..he proposed to me, Matty." He stared at him and forced himself to stop talking. 

"Alright...Clara." Celia giggled. "It's gonna be a messy one. Chocolate or vanilla?" She asked, putting her shake on the mixer and waiting at the ice cream tubs and waiting for Lacy's answer. "The burgers should be done soon too. Fries?" She asked, nodding at Mikey anyway who put two orders of fries in.

Matty's mouth went dry. He started shaking his head furiously. "No no no no no no no no no no. This can't be happening. This isn't happening. I won't believe it." He said, sitting down behind the cashier counter. "My worst fear, has came true." He said quietly, grabbing his hair by the fistfuls.

Lacy smiled happily and thought about it for a moment,"Vanilla," She tilted her head to the side,"So, how long have you been working here?"

Lucas stared at him wide sad eyes wishing he could say something to fix this, but he knew he couldn't promise to not marrying him but he didn't want to lose Matty. He placed his hands on hips, looked away feeling the tears spur up in his eyes. He looked at Matty again,"I'm sorry....I just..." His voice went dry and silent before he looked at the floor,"This isn't fair to you. I keep doing this. Leaving and coming back, it's wrong of me. and I'm so sorry," Right then, a memory from three years ago popped into his mind, which happened often.

They were cuddling on Lucas's bed listening to soft swaying music before Lucas stuttered out the words of wanting to marry him. Matty laughed at him because he thought the idea was crazy. But a few years later, a couple of months before his mother's death, Matty had said it back with no laughter. 

He took a deep breath, and said,"It's fucked up okay? It's fucked. But I don't know what I want. I said yes to marrying him...but I don't even...I don't even know if thats want I want anymore. I know I said it yesterday, but I rehearsed that so often these past months that I don't fully believe it that much anymore..because...I just don't. And then, again. Meeting you really has changed something because you were who I always imagined to marry, to marry my first love...my first kiss...my first everything." He said the last part quietly. 

Lacy grinned when the burger came her way and muttered a thank you as she bit into the burger. She moaned with satisifacation and laughed,"This is the best burger I have ever tasted in my entire life." She took a couple of more bites, chewing fast. "Well, that sucks. But I mean, there has to be some plot twist right? You want to be a.....model I'm assuming?"

Lucas stared at Matty shockingly when he had kissed him that way. It was the most intense kiss he's ever had and it almost drew him instantly when he pulled away slightly. He wished he understood what it felt like too need someone, but he never has. He loved and still loves Matty, but never felt that he needed him...or Delvin. It was strange concept for him. "Why...why do you need me?"

WIthout missing a beat, Lacy said charmingly,"A model would suit you better. You have the curves, the smile and the eyes for it. You are insanely beautiful," She stared at Celia before she hurriedly took another bite and smiled again,"Thanks." She cleared her throat before taking a drink and smiled again,"So goooood,"

Lucas wished he knew what too say but he was at lost for words,"I need to think about this.." He said with a soft smile,"I can't promise you that I would just up and leave him okay? But I do know that there has to be some perfect reason why I feel so differently around you when I dont feel this way that often with Delvin. I want to talk to him to see where his mind is at." 

Lacy glanced up when Celia had answered back and noticed the reaction, she blushed. It made Lacy smile and nodded,"I do." She paused,"I think you are gorgeous actually. You could be a model. And my father..he is a director...I could help get something started for you..?"

Lucas looked down at his feet before he shook his head lightly and said,"I know you aren't." His voice wavered as he walked away and started to pace,"I just feel stressed and everything is rushed. I imagined marrying him a couple of months ago but it just...this...I-I don't know. And my father called me two days ago, asking about you. He knows..he was so sorry. But I told him I was no longer with you and then he got pissed off and hung up on me." He rolled his eyes slightly,"He didn't apolgizie for anything else but that...I just..I feel like I can't do this. Maybe, I shouldn't go through with this."
