BIOS Lacy Bennet was born in Seattle, Washington but moved to California, in West Hollywood, about two months ago. She is the daughter of Adam Bennet, a famous director in Hollywood and Bonnie Bennet, a police officer. At age 10, her father set out to complete his dream to be a director. They didn't have the money right away to move to West Hollywood, therefore, her father, after becoming rather successful, he made biweekly trips to visit. While that happened, she's lived a quiet simple life until she turned 14 when she had met Jenny, her best friend throughout high school until she was 16, they both fell madly in love with each other but had to keep their love hushed due to both of their parents homophoic tendencies. She has a determination that can never be broken and is passionate when she cares about something. After their eight months, things between them became sour but they stuck it out for another three months. After losing their virginity to each other, the following day, they decided to go back to being best friends. Tragedy doesn't really affect Lacy, although she did love her, it was for the best. Shortly after her hard work of being an early graduate, her parents decided to finally move to West Hollywood. After being here for two months, being 18, she decided she wants to become an actress or a model. Lucas Martinez, who resembles Johnny Depp, has lived in West Hollywood all of his life. He is 19 years old, is very charaistmatic, flirtatious, commited to work, and dreams of being a co-host for a E news. He grew up in a home where dreams were always being overruled by reality. He is the son of a lawyer, who pushes him to be something he's not, until he was 18. He decided to tell his father what he dreams of being, and his father forced him to leave. Now it coming up on a year of not living with his father, he is determined to prove him wrong.

Moderator Posts: 567 | Matthew Quiso, also known as Matty throughout western Hollywood, owns the most popular record shop. He thought running it would be a flop, considering people now a days use iTunes and CDs. But it has been a great success owning the shop. At 21 years old, he has finally come to terms about his sexuality. He's pansexual, which means he likes someone for their personality. Not their gender. He ran away from home at 16, making his way to Hollywood all on his own. He also is the lead singer in a band, but he doesn't know if it will get him anywhere. He has been alone all his life, relationship wise. He also drinks a lot, to take away the pain. --Celia Halowitz is a down to earth loving girl. She has had her heart broken too many times by guys, leaving her to become a lesbian. But she is okay with it. And so are her parents. They have supported her with anything. She's an aspiring actress who has only starred in a few commercials. Being 18, she can understand why. But she's hoping for her big break soon. Very athletic, Celia loves to run for fun, and do anything to keep herself in shape. Attending online school on the side, she is also going for a business degree to fall back on if the acting thing doesn't work.

OOC: I am thinking the first scene could be in a cafe in west hollywood. Usually all the celeberities for publicity goes and eats there. Usually its packed, a lot of casting directors usually attend and agents for modeling. It is Sunday afternoon. And, for the drama, I was thinking Matty and Lucas has a past?

OOC: yeah sure! My character, Lacy, i decided actually she is already a big time celebrity because her father is a director. She's an actress but well known for her modeling. And So maybe for Lacy and Celia it is set in the cafe? Lacy is ordering from there or something and Lucas and Matty are at the shop.

Lacy strolled into The Planet proudly with her black romper hugging her curves quite nicely and her satin black pumps clicking with each step on the tile of the cafe. Her hair was silky straight just a few inches past her shoulders. She flipped it too one side as her agent, Marlene, stood beside her gravely. "Lacy, you promised me that you wouldn't come here. They support...something that cannot be condone yet, your career is just beginning." No one knew she was a lesbian, not even Marlene, her aunt and agent. Marlene was talking about how The Planet supports the LGBT quite proudly as well. Secretley, that is the only reason why she wanted to come. She wanted to meet more people, like her. She didn't answer Marlene, but pursed her lips into a straight line as her eyes scanned the area. She knew majority of the men because they worked with her father as one point, the women she knew from one her agencies, and she coudln't remember the rest. She fought back a smile as she suddenly saw one of the customers, a woman, kiss one of the waitresses and mouthed,"I love you." She looked away briefly at the table. "Marlene, let's just sit there." She pointed to the table. 'I'm sure the waitress will just help us when they are ready," Marlene was beginning to protest but Lacy strolled to the seat in a warm cloudy haze. Her career had already begun two months ago and her life has became so hetic but so private, it was hard to keep up with most of the time but exciting the next. The paprazzi outside had always asked her the same meaningless questions: How is your boyfriend? Is he treating you well? Is he a good guy for you? Blahblahblah. She and Jacob decided to pretend date, so no one would suspect anything. It was overall boring but Jacob, she trusted him with her secret because he is dating her because he doesn't want to get caught that he's gay. She sat cross legged in the seat as she waited for a waitress. During the week, Lucas's job is assiting the E News Host, Catherine. Since it was Sunday, she never called him in. He was more than thankful as he had this day off to do what he wants. It was early that morning when he headed towards East Hollywood too check out the record store he's been hearing about. It was packed! He walked in the shop, light on his feet, as he saw all the records on the walls and in the crates. His heart had sunk too his chest, as he thought about the man he had loved, who loved...obsessed with records. He wondered about Matty, time to time, wondering if he's ever did what he wanted. He walked around the store slowly and sharply as he skimmed through the records, his heart hammering in his chest as all the bands Matty loved stood before him. "He would've loved this place," He thought numbly as he moved through the crowd reaching for The Beatles record.

Moderator Posts: 567 | Celia was waitressing for her friend for the day, when she saw Lacy walk in. She knew that Lacy was a huge star. And she was a fan of her work. Snapping out of her daze and readjusting her long brown hair in a ponytail, she grabbed her notepad and pen, walking over to the table where Lacy and her agent were sitting. "Welcome to The Planet. I'm Celia. What can I get for you today?" She asked, smiling brightly at the customers in front of her. She was proud to be working for the day, at a place that supported LGBT. "I could suggest some things to you, if you like." She was dressed in yoga capris, a light yellow polo and Nike free runs. ----- Matty's shop was booming this morning, everyone apparently excited about his new shipment he got in. Ringing people up, he called to a worker that he needed more bags. As he kept ringing them up, he let his mind wander to his old boyfriend. Lucas was the best thing that happened to him. He knew he liked records. What if one day he ever stumbled upon his shop, and saw him? He wouldn't know what to do.

Lacy absentmindley pulled her phone from her pocket and started texting Jacob, informing him of the all the guys he would like. She laughed aloud before she heard someone speaking to her. She glanced at Celia then back to her phone before she did a second glance. She was cute. She looked at Marlene, wishing she wasn't here so she could flirt, because she most definitley would, before Marlene waved her for her order. Sheepishly, she smiled and said,"What can you suggest?" Marlene spoke up quickly,"She would like a salad with light ranch, no cheese, extra cucumbers, make sure the lettuce romaine and not iceberg. If you only have ice berg only make a cup full," Lacy kept a smile on her face although she was really bothered that Marlene had spoken for her. She nodded,"Yeah...I would love that and sweet...tea..please," She swallowed hard before she closed the menu. He grabbed the Beatles record pocessivly almost as the person next to him was glaring at him. Lucas smirked and raised an eyebrow. He walked too the counter with The Beatles record in hand, when his mind automatically fell back to Matty once more. Oftenly, he wondered about Matty but he knew he shouldn't. They loved each other too much in fact, it became rather too close for Lucas. Matty stayed in the hospital beside him when his mother died. He remained as his side through it all. But he was grieving, he was hurting, and overall, he knew how it would end. Matty would ask why he left, an answer he refuses to explain. It's been almost a year since his mother's death then him being kicked out. And losing the best thing in his life. It all was too much. It is probably for the best though... "Everything happens for a reason," He read the floor mat on the ground with a positive light as he walked to the counter. He set the record on the desk when he dropped his keys. "Ah crap, sorry-" He muttered, reaching down to grab his keys and coming back up too look up at the cashier.

Moderator Posts: 567 | Celia quickly wrote down the order, nodding. "Do you want anything? " she asked, an obvious edge in her voice.Lacy's agent really pissed her off. Couldn't she let her speak for herself? Lacy was an independent woman. Taking a quick order from the bitch, she turned on her heel and headed into the kitchen. "Order for bitch table 4." She said, sliding it in the rack. She stood against the counter, smoothing her hair down frustrated. "I can't let her make me mad." She said to herself, grabbing a glass of sweet tea and walking back out the table. "Here's your tea, miss." Celia said, setting it in front of Lacy. Turning away again, she went back to the kitchen grabbing the order. --- Matty took a look at the record, smiling. "The Beatles? Someone I knew loved them." He said, looking at the purchaser. "Oh my god....hi." He said, getting the grand total and bagging the record. "Lucas..." He said. "The shop closes in a few hours...can I come see you then?" He asked quickly. "$23 please."

When Celia brought back her tea, she felt at that moment was the only good thing about this morning so far. She took a sip of her drink, before Marlene started telling her about the plans for today. It was the easiest day of the week. Two photoshoots and rehearsal for the new movie she's in. In some way, she wanted to say thank you to Celia. Why would she thank her? She is just doing her job. It frustrated her slightly that sometimes she wished she didn't get herself into this so she could be herself at all times. She was just about to speak until a fan had came up too her and asked for an autograph. It made her smile warmly and about to sign until a line was forming. Somehow, a paprazzi in the cafe started taking her photos. Although she had no expression of alarmed, she felt panicked and scared more then anything. As Marlene started speaking too the line, Lacy had excused herself, going to the counter. She did the only thing she thought was best. When the crowd got bigger, Lacy started crawling on the floor, grabbed an apron from the rack and a hat and put it on. She grabbed a napkin, wiping off all the make up and took off her lashes. She looked completley different and she knew it. Marlene pretended to be furious and looked around,"Where is she?" But if this ever happened, that was the plan too hurry out of there. Lacy sighed in relief, leaning against the counter and closed her eyes. Lucas stared blankly at Matty for what seemed like minutes. He needed to speak or say something, "do something!" His mind screamed at him but it was as if his entire world was colliding together in that instant but it made him want too run. Wide eyed, he blinked a couple of times before shaking his head slowly and rushing out of the store inbetween the spaces of the people in the crowd. He left the Beatles record on the counter and hurried out of the store. As his steps quickened out of the record store, every heartbeat from his mother's chest that had slowly came to a halt when he snuggled up against her with his head on her chest, had boomed loudly in his mind. He remembered it vividily. He was screaming at his mother's lifeless body, and Matty was holding his arms behind his back. He was screaming her heart had stopped beating to the doctor and the doctor wanted to sedate him, and his father, his father had cried so hard and terribly then he remained in bed for a month and he watched his father climb into depression while his absent father watched him drown in it. He remembered that night when he wanted nothing but comfort from Matty,They had broken up then- and got back together a week later. But Matty remained there. And then, his mind rushed foward to the part, where they almost seemed okay together again but he snapped and it all caved...and he left his apartment and went back home. He moved back home to live with his dad, who only kicked him out two months later and he lived with Delvin, his new boyfriend. He was so lost in thought that he had almost passed his car, and he reached deep into his pocket fumbiling for the keys.

Moderator Posts: 567 | Celia saw a line forming around Lacy's table, where she contplated going over to scatter them. Then she looked over again to see her not there. She knew her food would be a while, so she just watched. Then she saw someone pop up behind the counter. "Lacy?" She whisper shouted. Grabbing her by the wrist she dragged her into the back room. "What is happening out there?" Celia asked, holding Lacy by the shoulders. After realizing what she was doing, she let go. --- Matty shot a look at a worker to make him take his spot. Running out of the shop, he caught up at Lucas's car. Banging on the window, he silently pleaded that he wouldn't drive away. He needed to talk to Lucas. After he didn't open it, he jerked on the handle to find the car not locked and he hopped into the passenger seat. "Drive. Turn at the corner then again at the next. Then we'll be at my apartment. We need to talk." He commanded, picking Lucas's hands from his lap and putting them on the wheel. Something inside of Lucas must have clocked because he took off at the speed of light.

Lacy stared at Celia as if she was crazy then smiled sheepishly,"Oh right, you know who I am." She said with a slightly defeated tone in her voice then shrugged,"Paprazzi rush and fan drive." She laughed humorlessly, then looked at her. "But shut up, idoit. I'm not Lacy. I'm..." She looked around slowly then smirked, and said with a perfected british accent,"My name is Clara. Good day, Miss." She went to the kitchen counter, grabbing her food, and setting it inside a to go box. Lucas didn't know exactly what was happening because he felt as if he in a haze. He glanced at Matty's concerned look, before doing what he was told. When he pulled into the parking lot, he didn't move just then. He didn't do anything except stare ahead, squinting his eyes. "Don't ever fucking do that. Ever. Again." He said with an edge to his voice but remained staring ahead,"Don't take advantage of me when you know what was happening!" His voice boomed throughout the car and he glared at Matty. "You could've been killed cause I was driving...and not really focusing!"

Moderator Posts: 567 | "You've got to be kidding me." Celia said. "I get off in 10. Can you last until that long?" She asked, grabbing food to run out. She didn't wait for an answer before she set off and delivered food. Walking over to the table where Lacy was at, she waved the paps out of the restaurant and moved the fans. Signing she went back to the kitchen. "So." -- "Lucas. Stop being a twat. You know we need to talk. And there was no other way to get you going. So don't be a part and come in my apartment." He said getting out of the car. He hated being mean to Lucas, but now he had to. He was being a part about the whole situation.

Lucas knew he was right but he wouldn't let Matty be mean too him. He locked his car doors after he got out of the car, He rolled his window down and looked at him,"You disrespected my by calling me a twat and really think we should talk about things?" He paused slightly,"My boyfriend wouldn't....be okay with this. He would be really uncomfortable." Lacy tilted her head to the side slightly, raised her eyebrow and smiled a little,"So?"

Moderator Posts: 567 | "You want to go and do something normal? Without being recognized?" Celia asked, taking off her apron. "It would be fun. Unless you have some celebrity things to do..." She joked, looking backwards at Lacy while hanging up her outfit. --- "Boyfriend? Hmph. Well. If you're looking to talk soon, you know where to find me. It'd be great if you told me something and I'll tell you something too. See you later." Matty said, not bothering to fight with him. If he was still his Lucas, he would come inside and talk.

Lucas's eyes narrowed, before he looked away then back at Matty. "You still didn't even say sorry for calling me a twat...everything happens for a reason now doesn't it!" His anger boiled, and he shook his head. He reached for his phone (OOC: I got some ideas!) He looked at Matt again. "Yeah I want to talk," He said with a sudden intensity as he unlocked his doors then slid out of the vehicle. "I want to know why you thought it was neccesary to call me that." He leaned on his hip slightly,"Cause you know me, for way too long. I would have never disrespected you that way. If you want to really talk, because you do deserve answers, let's start off...with not disrespecting it each other?" Lacy tilted her head to the side with a slight smile forming before she shook her head,"Already tried." She paused,"And I do. My boyfriend will be here any minute." She hoped the annoyance or the bitterness didn't appear when she said it, but she felt it did for a moment then smiled,"But...I would definitley...be back in here." Her smile faded and she smirked,"You are a great waitress. Maybe next time, I'll have the burger." She laughed lightly before she said,"Can you show me out the restaurant?"

Moderator Posts: 567 | Celia smirked. "Why sure. Cmon." She said, lacing her arm through Lacy's and walking her out. "Boyfriend huh? Oh wait. Jacob right?" She asked, standing outside. "Boys are ugh." She added, taking her hair out of the ponytail. -- Matty chuckled. "I only call you a twat because you wouldn't have listened other wise. You know that. So don't take offense to it. But let's go inside and I'll make a cuppa, then we can talk about it. Sound good?" He asked, opening the door to his apartment and leaving it open for Lucas.

Lucas was pissed by the time he entered Matty's apartment. It all seemed to fade for a moment when he realized it changed since he last lived here. He clenched his jaw, narrowed his eyes,"If you want me to listen. You are going to have to respect me. Starting now." He looked at Matty,"Because you know, I'm not afraid to do this shit again." He said harshly but with a sad gleam in his eye. "I take offense too it but it's rude as hell. And I won't put up with it." He then realized why it had angered him so much. Delvin, musician, calls his exes he dated it, when they didn'd do much wrong. He thought about how vulgar and defiant he is and he suddenly wanted to scream but he remained quiet and he looked away from Matty. Lacy walked along side her, surprised that by her own self that she even let her lace her arm through hers. She then imagined dating a girl again, being open about her sexuality, and never being an actress. It was also a passing thought until Celia had dropped her arms back to her sides. She smiled half heartedly when she saw the black camero speeding into the back entrance. Lacy looked at Celia with a wavering timid smile,"Yes Jacob Barlett." She nodded slightly,"I don't like boys, I like men." Lacy lied jokingly,"Don't ever waste your time with boys honey," She said with a southern twange, laughed,"Cause it will be worthless." She almost had this edge in her voice that seemed like she was flirting but forced it back. She couldn't. Not now.

"Well I guess I'll see you around then?" Celia asked, scratching the back of her neck. "Tell Jacob I said hi." She added, turning around to walk back to her car and hopefully stop at the record shop to pick up a Lana album. Mentally cursing herself, Celia rounded a corner and found her car in the lot. --- Marty sighed as he put the kettle on. "I'm sorry." He apologized to Lucas. "I didn't mean it like that. I just...never mind." He said, deciding against telling Lucas he misses him. Bad enough they ran into each other, but he was just getting closure. Right?
