Roleplay-ing

"It's okay, let it all out." Melena encouraged, hating the heart wrenching sobs that came from Adam's fraile body. "Adam it's okay...I know it doesn't seem like it but it is." She cooed, eyes getting wet from tears. She hated seeing anyone cry, especially him.

A mental debate going on through the voices, Dustin sighed. Reluctantly pulling up his hoodie, he showed his hips to Violet. "There..." He breathed out, some actually quite deep from where he used to really hurt himself. On several occasions he had to go and get stitches for the cuts becuase of his haemophilia. "I've been clean for a few weeks." He said.

Violet's eyes scanned his hips. Deep scars crossing over his hipbones, without thinking she placed her cold hands on his hips tracing over the scars. She had realized what she was doing and she quickly removed her hand and said, "S-sorry." she looked up to see his reaction and she still couldn't read his face so all she said, "I'm proud, a few weeks is a lot."

Adam took deep breaths and looked up at her, "I- I'm so-sorry." he said in between small sobs, but no tears fell down his face. He placed his head on her sholder and hugged her tightly, "Thank you." he held on to her, he didn't want to let go, ever.

Melena nodded, sticking her facein his neck and placing light kisses on it. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that..." She whispered. Adam was someone who did not deserve to get hurt. Placing kisses along his neck and up to his lips she pecking him lightly on the mouth. "Feel better that you got it all out?"

"I-It's fine." Dustin muttered, quickly pulling his hoodie back over his hips. "I know. But I've been so close lately. It's been so..." He took a deep breath, "so hard." He finished. "Can we please go get dinner now?" He asked, uncomfortable with the current situtation. 

Violet nodded, as he turned around to walk away she walked behind him not sure what to do. She wanted to hug him again but yet again she always wanted to hug him because they were so warm and you just knew he cared the way he hugged. She sighed a bit and knew what he ment, it has been hard, it had always been hard because it was never easy.

Adam nodded his head and looked up at her then gave her a faint smile. He gave her a soft peck on her head and placed his forehead against hers. He sighed and said yet again, "Thank you." It was all he could say, his mind couldn't make up any other words.

Violet took her time to get her food. She would look over at him every now and then just sitting at the table alone, a thought of Melena and Adam shot though her mind as of where could they be? She shrugged the question off her mind then got a bottle of water and walked over to the table and sitting down not making a sound. She picked up her fork and started to eat the green grapes she had picked out. She didn't look up, she wanted him to say something first but as he said nothing, she felt a sharp pain in her throat.

Adam closed his eyes and nodded. His forehead still against hers he opend his eyes and saw her up close. She's so beautiful he thought. He smiled and closed his eyes reaching one of her hands in his hair. He lightly grabbed her hand and brought it down to his lips and left a small peck on them.

"I'm going to ask a nurse if they could deliver our food. I'll make up some excuse." Melena said, blushing when Adam kissed her hand. "I won't be long." She moved away from Adam and started to walk towards the station. "Hi, can I get Adam and I's meals delivered to my room? We had an episode and we can't really go down there..." She jerked her thumb towards the cafeteria. The nurse gave her a skeptical look but nodded.

Dustin cleared his throat. "I'm sorry." He mumbled. He felt terrible that Violet was upset about what he did. And even though she didn't say that she was upset, he knew. He could read her like an open book. "I didn't mean to act like that. I apologize." He added, a little louder. Taking a sip of his milk, he looked up at Violet. 

She shook her head and said, "It's okay." giving him a quick glance then slowly looking down to continue eatting. She let out a small sigh and cough as the pain in her throat was still there. She grabbed her watter bottle and drank out of it. She wanted everything to be okay, she didn't know what she did wrong.

Adam got up from the bathroom floor and walked over to her bed. Sitting down he let out a yawn then fell back. Looking up at the ceiling he smiled thinking of her sleeping on this bed, all cuddled up and warm. He closed his eyes and wanted her to be back already.

Violet looked up at him, their blue eyes crashing into each other she looked down at her food then back up at him,  "You finished eatting?" she wanted to leave the cafiteria. She didn't like the food or the enviornmet. She liked the music room, them two alone. It was much better there.

Adam groaned at the smell of tuna over coming the smell of her.  He sat up and looked down at the food then back up at her, he shrugged and said, "It doesn't look great. Or smell." he looked at her and smiled then stood up and walked towards her. He gave her a small peck and sat down at the table.

She looked down, "I ate the fruits. I dont eat fish." she shrugged then took a sip out of her water, then looked up at Dustin. She gave him a small smile. The pain in her throat was slowly going away as she felt things go back to normal.

Adam nodded and begain to eat his food. He looked up at her and thought but then he said something out loud he didn't know he said, "Out first date." he looked up at her and she was already looking at him with her rosy cheeks. Adam swallowed some food and then asked, "What?"

Violet jumped a little when she felt his warm hand grab her cold ones. Her cheeks instantly grew a light shade of pink when she said, "Nah it's okay, lets get out of here before we're stuck here." she remebered once there was a black out and if you were in the cafiteria they wouldn't let you leave.

Adam got up and ran beside her he picked her up and huged her rubbing her back cooing her, "It's okay it was only thunder." he put his head in the crook of her neck and hugged her tightly feeling her body tremble against his.

Melena shook as the thunder continued. Even as a child, she hated thunder. She thought that's where her anxiety came from, the constant rolls of thunder and not knowing if the house was going to blow down. That's what she got for living in Oklahoma. She cried silently into Adam, taking deep breaths.

Dustin towed Violet out of the cafeteria, and heading towards the music room. "If we have to get stuck in one place, I want it to be in here." He said, opening the door and ushering her inside. 

Violet smiled and looked up at Dustin. She walked over to the window opening the bared windows slightly. The roaring thunder sounded louder and rung through the room then the rain started to pour she smiled taking in a deep breath and sitting on the window still. "I love the sound of rain." she closed her eyes to hear all the rain drops.

Adam's grip tightend on her and said, "Shh, I'm here." he kissed her head and placed his chin on her head and stroked her hair. Then out of no where, he started to hum. Something he hasn't done in years, sing or hum or anything. He hummed softly to Skinny Love and closed his eyes and just went with the song.

Violet smiled and closed her eyes. The two songs along with the rain made a beautiful mixture. She looked outside and saw the lighting spread across the sky. She let out a small sigh then the sadness overcame her. She remebered that night she got admitted. There was a thunder storm outside, she was amitted at 4:46am but at 12:30am she took her self harm too far.

Adam smiled and got up extending his hand down to her he helped her up and walked over to the bed with her hand still in his. He layed down and felt his chest gain weight as she placed her head on his chest. He smiled and put one hand behind his head and stroked her hair with the other.

Violet's blue eyes looked up and met his blue eyes. She blinked and smiled, "Oh nothing, just some random thoughts." she smiled and looked out the window to see the rain pouring. She wanted to grab a book and read as she always did when it rained. She didn't want to tell Dustin, at least not yet.

Adam shruged as he ran his fingers through her hair. He let out a small sigh and said, "Maybe give you more pills. Or tranquiliser shots." He shivered a the thought. He hated tranquiliser shots becuase you felt the anxiety bubbling inside you but your body was fine when the inside was burning.
