Roleplay-ing

THe Doctor spun around and held his hands out, "Do I look Victorian enough?" he smiled and claped his hands together then rubbed them and ran over too the doors, "Lets go find out what day it really is." he walked out of the TARDIS doors and walked around while linking arms with Melena.

The Doctor furrowed his brows and said, "That's impossible, this bridge was built in 1866." he had now stopped walking and scratched his head and looked around, everything seemed perfectly fine. 

"Hmm, yeah." he looked around the peir to see a large fancy building, he grabbed Melina's hand and linked his arm with her arm then started to walk. Running would've looked out of place here so the best way to get in and figure out what's happening is too look casual and blend in.

"How is your day?" She would ask The Doctor as they walked by people. Walking silently would come off as odd to the passersby. Seeing as they were all chattering about as they walked around the pier. "I personally am having a smashing day."

"Ah my day is swell." The Doctor smiled and looked down at her then back up. Looking around he said, "This peir is actually quite lovely." he looked off into the horizon and smiled again because of Earth.

The Doctor watched her walk off into the building. He looked around abit then walked in. Everything seemed pretty normal until he couldn't find Melena. 

Everyone was walking in his way and bumping into him he ran up stairs and looked around until he saw a small pannel he ran to it at the top of the stairs and soniced it. Everyone disapeared and he saw Melena at the bottom of the stairs he quickly walked down the stairs gave her a hug. He placed his head on her sholder and said, "I'm so sorry."

"But why?" Melena asked, following him around the room with him. "I get that it's alien technology. But why the hell do they want me?" She asked again. 

"I have no idea." the Doctor stopped to think then nodded his head up the stairs as if to say, follow me.

He walked up the stairs but when he reached the top there was large wooden doors he put his ear against it then licked him, "Hmm, white pine."

"What's significant about white pine? That's what the doors in my flat are." Melena explained, watching the Doctor intently. "Is there some link between me and the doors? Because that'd be odd."

"No no no no, it's just..." the Doctor looked at his sonic then the door then Melena and then he finally said, "It doesn't do wood." he shrugged, maybe the doors were linked too Melena but how would they know? The Doctor put the sonic back in his coat and put his hand on the handel then reached out his other hand to Melena with a big smile on his face.

The Doctor looked around but it seemed like a regular room that is untill the beeping came. He eyes widened and pulled Melenas hand making her trip on to his chest and he ducked then hovered over her and waited for the explosion.

Melena was taken by surprise when the Doctor knocked her over. "Wha the hell?" She was about to ask when the explosion happened. She didn't know if she screamed. She didn't even have time to fully react. She just knew the Doctor was protecting her.
