Roleplay-ing

The Doctor nodded and agreed, and continued to eat his chips the asked, "Well Melena, I have failed to ask before, what is your job? I guessed a photographer before because the camera."

The Doctor nodded and smiled, "Imagine taking photos of aliens." then ate another one of his fish sticks. He smiled at the thought of her always traveling with him but he knew she might not want to stick around. She had her whole life here in England and he was just some mad man with a box that swoshed in to save her. He thought that we wasn't really a hero, he just happened to be there on time to save her and really all thanks to the TARDIS.

The Doctor looked into her eyes and shook his head, "No no, I'd love for you to come along with me but... It's dangerous out there and I've already hurt so much people I cannot bare to hurt you or anyone else anymore. You have a life here. A job, you would be much better and safer here then out there with me." His big sad eyes looked down at the food that simply sat there, he wanted to bring her along but he simply couldn't bare the thought of her getting hurt or worse.

The Doctor gave her a warm smile then laughed abit at the chip she threw at him, "Deal. Do you need to pick up anything from your home before we go off exploring?" his smile grew as the thought of being with her everyday, he hoped she would never have to leave him.

Popping a piece of fish in her mouth, she nodded. "That'd be nice." Melena said, noting his sad smile. "Hey, I'm here, okay? I know you probably won't tell me what's wrong, but let's focus on the now." She said, holding one of his hands between her two fragile ones.

The Doctor looked at her and smiled softly then nodded. He said, "Lets finish our food then go to the Brigton Pier, yeah?" He kept the hand she held there in between hers then ate his chips with the other.

Melena nodded slowly, keeping one hand on the Doctor's, and using her other to eat more chips. She didn't know how, but there was the connection there with the Doctor. As she thought about it and ate, she idly rubbing her thumb on the pad of his hand, thinking.

The Doctor smiled as she held his hand. Eatting his chips silently his eyes peered over to her and she seemed to be lost on a train on thoughts. He smiled and looked away not wanting to disturb her. He remebered the TARDIS might have wanted this, she brought him today at that time to safe her. The TARDIS knew all along, she probably even has a room set up for Melena already, maybe even rooms for future complains. The TARDIS was so big he even got lost in there sometimes.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Melena looked at the Doctor and smiled. "Well, I finished my food. Are we ready to go?" She asked, crumbling the paper with her free hand and looking back at the Doctor. "What are you smiling about?" 

As he nodded he looked back at her and furrowed his brows, "Oh psh mechanical stuff in the TARDIS, yeah really big on the inside and I still wonder how could that be." he wanted to hit himself on the head because of course he knew how that could be. He wasn't thinking straight or saying anything right and the last time that happend, oh man the last time that happend was when he wore a purple shirt and leather jacket.

"Yeah, I wonder." Melena teased, walking out of the shop. "How far away did we leave her again? I'm too full to walk." She complained, setting a hand on her small stomach. In reality, all she wanted was for the Doctor to carry her.

"Want to sit down for awhile?" He pointed over at a park across the street, he smiled and patted his stomach, he was pretty full too but he probably wouldv'e been completely full with his custard. 

Melena gingerly walked over to the bench, sitting down. "Still sorry about your custard there, mate. But they don't know what they're missing out on, do they?" She said, looking up at the sky. "Can I ask you a serious question?" Melena posed.

The Doctor sat beside her and said, "Ah it's alright, next time I'll bring my custard packets." he smile at himself for the clever idea, looking across the park then once she asked him he furrowed his brows and said, "Sure, anything you want, shoot." he smiled a bit then looked up at the sky just like she was.

"What would you do if you didn't have to travel?" Melena asked, pulling her legs up, it was a genuine question, one that she had been asking herself since she started to research the Doctor many years ago. "If you don't want to answer, that's fine. I was just wondering."
